For the next few months I shall be broadcasting my Fanes Chronicles. I beg you to love them as much as I do. Talk about falling stillborn from the press…. They crashed. I shared the same publisher with J.K.Rowling: her books put magic into the everyday world, mine took it out; her books were for old and young, mine seemed to be for neither; hers sold millions of copies, mine sold dozens. And yet I still doggedly maintain these Fanes stories are the best thing I’ve ever produced. Thank you in advance for lending a kindly ear.
